FSP Group (3015), a global leader in power supply solutions, has officially joined the TRE100 renewable energy initiative, becoming one of the first companies in Taiwan’s power supply industry to make this commitment. FSP pledges to achieve 100% renewable electricity use across its operations by 2050 and has set net-zero carbon emissions by 2050 as its ultimate goal, demonstrating its firm commitment to sustainable operations and corporate social responsibility.
RE100 is a leading global corporate initiative that brings together hundreds of multinational companies committed to sourcing 100% of their electricity from renewable energy by 2050. Inspired by RE100, its Taiwanese partner, the Chung-Hua Institution for Economic Research (CIER), launched the TRE100 sub-initiative. Built upon RE100’s technical standards, TRE100 provides a certification framework specifically designed for small and medium electricity users in Taiwan, enabling more companies to align with international standards and participate in global net-zero actions through a consistent and credible mechanism.
As a key player in the global electronics supply chain, FSP clearly recognizes the increasingly stringent renewable energy requirements imposed by international brand customers on their suppliers. By joining TRE100, FSP establishes a renewable energy recognition framework aligned with global standards, while also actively supporting Taiwan’s 2050 net-zero emissions policy and further strengthening the Group’s ESG competitiveness.
FSP Group spokesperson Yao Wen-Chin stated, “FSP has long been committed to developing power solutions that are more efficient and environmentally responsible. Joining TRE100 is not only an important milestone on our journey toward net-zero transition, but also a firm commitment to our customers, society, and future generations. We believe that by expanding the use of renewable energy, FSP will take concrete action to support Taiwan’s corporate sustainability transformation and long-term development.”
By joining TRE100, FSP responds to global climate challenges through decisive action. Looking ahead, the Group will continue to expand its investments in renewable energy and work closely with its supply chain partners toward the shared goal of net zero.
